I thought I would try posting here on this forum.
RE:1965 Allis Chalmers HD7G crawler
I need an aspirator for a 7000 engine (344 CI); in my parts book the aspirator part number is 634092.
The center is completely rusted out of mine, I can copy it, but need some information/pictures/diagram regarding the center, if I have to go that way.
1. Does anyone make an aftermarket aspirator to fit this tractor?
2. How high does the center pipe extend inside the aspirator?
3. Last but not least, what does this do?
4. Can it hurt the engine if operated without it?

Swing over to the crawler forum and see my posts there regrading this.
(This is my understanding) It is a metal chamber that pushes/pulls air into the exhaust stack.
It is mounted on the turbo and extends into the hood pipe when the hood is in operating position.
Why it is needed I can't seem to find out.
