A friend has a D17 gas. He told me that he recently replaced his clutch. Not long after that it started jumping out of high range so he had to keep his foot on the lever to keep it engaged in high. Not long after that it stopped working in high and only works in low. Archives make me think this is a worn out power-director. My experience with Farmall's make me think there might have been a relationship with the new main clutch and the old PD needing to be adjusted together. If that's the case he probably ruined the PD clutches running it with his foot holding it in the high side. All opinions asked for and welcomed. Thanks in advance, gm
