Still a new guy here. Is there a place on this site that has tractor specs, such as horse power; at the flywheel and at the drawbar? Or another place on the internet?

Related to that: How many and what size plows can a "C" pull?

Thanks

The University of Nebraska has been testing tractors for nearly 100 years. If know the model tractor or the test number you should be able to find the test posted online.

My Neb. test list has the C at 23HP. The list does not say if that is PTO or draw bar HP. I would not use anything bigger then a 1 bottom 16 or a 2 bottom 12 plow behind a C.

October 28th, 1940......Nebraska Test #364........Allis-Chalmers model "C" on gasoline fuel.................23.3 HP at the BELT........18.43 HP at the drawbar.

As stated, you can Google the Nebraska test which will give you belt, PTO, drawbar, etc, etc power ratings. TractorData seems to be pretty accurate. A C is a 1-14 or 1-16 plow. Maybe 2-12 in light soil.
