I thought I was crazy buying this out of Illinois,( I did have someone look at it) but I'm sure glad I did, I have owned it for couple years, intending to use it for odd jobs around the house like the one it was doing here, but its turned out I have taken it to the farm and tilled in the garden, and also odd jobs there too.
They are like a little bull.

Ande, had one just like that with a tiller and finish mower. Sold it and regret it almost everyday. Handier than a pocket on a t-shirt.

Dan I have never operated one, but sure can think of a bunch of jobs that we could use it for. Maybe I could get the wifey one instead of that $8000 sewing machine she wants, Rod.

Dan, I was Sure what I would see before it popped up! That is a Nice machine and So Glad you went ahead and got it,, I am still softly looking for a 646,, it will happen when the time is right for me,, thanks for sharing I have moved a lot of snow and dirt with one
cnt

I do have one pic of the 646 I had on-loan from my then father-in law, taken behind my house I was putting in the drain field,, I am in the ditch spreading out the lime stone, my Dad and Son are watching. Son is now 30 now,, Man times fly's

What HP are the Case Models 646. I am sure they are Onan engines. I have a few Case Garden Tractors and have found out that the lower Hp engines (series B and C ) are hard to get parts, such as pistons, rods, etc.

I will have to say, I would have bought this from you, as that is one sharp "646" ,, I bet you miss this one!

Yes, Tom, I knew you would read through the subject matter, and know what I was talking about. Sure I want a Case "648" or 6 but having this one sure has made life good, as my old "SC" with the "101" is very tired,, and hard to start

After I bought it, I told Nanc, that I did, and she said well it will probably save your back ( she knew I was looking) And honestly it has, I just bought the "730" with the factory Case loader, ( have my "400" with loader too) and I will still use this little guy around home
Rod, your wife could run this one, mine can and does.

Arlen, you hit the nail on the head when you said, handier than a pocket on a t shirt!
You better find another, they are out there!

I have a 644. you guys are correct!!! They are handier than a pocket on a shirt!!! Mine has the 14 hp Kohler and does just fine.

That would be a nice one to have in the collection, but had some others on the radar
