830 Hydraulic Problem

My late model (8 speed, standard 3pt) 830 has a hydraulic problem. Though a low hour tractor it sat unused for many years. Most of the hydraulic oil had leaked out through a bad PTO seal and
what remained was very milky. Drained and replaced all the oil (15 gallons). Lift arms and remote do not work. Pump is producing correct pressure (1500) and volume (12 gpm). Removed 3pt valve
and found all internal valves corroded and stuck. Got it apart with heat and difficulty. Arms will raise with air pressure. Cleaned valve parts and replaced ?O? rings. Replaced valve. Arms raised
once but not again. Gurggling noise in valve. We think valve is damaged beyond tolerances. Looking for good used valve and/or experienced advice. Valve is part number A 32978 superseeded to
A 59600.

The valve may very well be scrap but did you completely disassemble the raise poppet, the poppet has a oriface that gets plugged and must b e disassembled and cleaned and readjusted, I would try that if you have not done so. That is the main cause of hitch malfunctions. the lowering plunger can also stick but that is not as common. If it raised once it should again. I would go over it again before scrapping it.
