Got a 930 CK out of the shed to work on, this is a non running tractor at the moment. It will roll forward, all four wheels without issue. However, when trying to roll the tractor back, the Left rear wheel locks up and will not move an inch. I am thinking if it was water inside froze it wouldn't move forward or back, and if it was the brake locked up it wouldn't move forward or back would it? Any ideas? Thanks

8 speeds are not chain drive , so far you have no useful answer.and i agree that
brakes or ice is not the cause. i fear you have a broken tooth coglocking you
or a bad wheel bearing rolling up and cog locking , such was the condition of
2nd gear in my SC Case . at any rate it is my GUESS that LACK of oil and
severe wear has caused this and more than likely the tranny is toast ,if your
assessment of the tractor agrees and confirms this notion ? ,You Mite be best
off to find another rear end, they are out there . however , if you believe the
tractor has always been well maintained disregard my idea from my chair ,.
