Been looking for a tractor for my son. I have come across a couple VACs. These look like they may fit the bill. Seem reasonable to purchase,
easy to get on and off and small to haul around. My questions are what is the difference in these models. I very found a 1950!with wide front
and eagle hitch and it seems bigger than the 1949 with eagle hitch. What gives here? What can be done to these engines to get a bit more
power. May be some plowing in the future and would like the little guy to keep up with his uncles green and red tractors. So what kind of
differences are in the VACs?

One difference could be the back tires. My 51 has 34" on the back so it makes it look a bit bigger than the usual size, which are 28" I think.

The VAC should have more than enough power. The issue will be traction and weight. I pull 2-14" fairly well but a 2-12" would be even better and I am running 2 sets of rear VAC wheel weights. The eagle hitch hydraulics should be more than enough to lift a 2 bottom plow either mounted or trailing type.

Connor: Great videos. For longest clutch life, engage the clutch 1st, then throttle up. Please don't take offense, just a pet peeve of mine.
