I need to replace the axle seal on my 930, I was just wondering if any of you guys have a seal number, I'd rather go to the auto parts store and get one then go down the road to the dealer and pay triple the price, just put new rockshaft seals in the 1570 this weekend and they were like $50.00 each from Case
Thanks
Ben

Interesting you should ask that question. I am replacing one on my 930. The original seal that came out of my tractor was a Chicago Rawhide 516244 its a double lip seal and pretty heavy duty. I was unable to cross it to another brand so I took it to the local bearing supply store. They crossed it to a Timken 417499. Its 3.625 x 5.251 x .437. Looks like a good match to me and I will try to install it tomorrow. If your seal has been replaced before it may have the newer case seal where they added a wear sleeve to the axle so check your numbers after you get it out.

I think that should be 36382 I cant make the 26382 find anything. my interchange shows this 36382 and 417499 to interchange with each other.

The 8sp 930's used 2 different axle seals. My experience is that it is impossible to tell which seal you have unless you have a seal number from the old seal, or take a measurement of the seal surface on the axle. Could be 3-1/2" or 3-5/8".
