530 case backhoe

my backhoe is having trouble running. I've bleed the injectors a couple of times it will then run for about a five minutes then shut off then I can fire it back up and it will only run for about another minute unless I try to drive then it immediately shuts off. I've then taken the top of the fuel pump and tried to clean the fuel meter control valve (took the bolt out and the spring and cleaned them with carb cleaner). then it will run the same as if I bleed the injectors. Sometimes if I bleed the injectors after it shuts down I can get it run for a little while. It's got a 188 diesel and a roosa master fuel pump not sure if it helps. I'm at a loss and I'm going nuts with everything else breaking down at the same time.

Have you changed the fuel filter(s)? Checked for full flow to the pump? Sounds like a fuel flow restriction.

yeah I changed the fuel filter about a month ago all my fuel lines were flowing good. Then your comment got me thinking of re-checking them again, then when I started to take the main line off I remembered the fuel pump has a little screen in it which I did not check. Lo and behold it was full of gunk couldn't even see through it, some carb cleaner later it's running like a champ. Thanks for the reply.
