1949 VAC is finally running

One or two here may recall me posting back in 2012 about starting a project to get my old VAC running again. I got it moved, but all four tires were rotted. I managed to get one rear changed and the project stalled and the tractor sat once again. :(

Having to change several rear rims on my Fords got me in tire mode, and I rode the wave of momentum to include the VAC. So with four halfway decent tires under it I was out of excuses. I pulled it up in the driveway where it would be right in my way and where I would hear about it from Mrs. CTPhil, and the rest was relatively easy. Went over the carb and distributor, put gas in, cleaned up electrical connections, new battery and we have a runner. :)

I think I'm just going to run it for now to discover what it might need down the road, and eventually do a real renovation. I'm thinking I'll give it tedder duty for the rest of the hay season to get re-aquainted with it. I love it when a plan comes together, even when it takes many years!
