2394 trany question

My friend Jeff's 2394 is a blowing oil out the trany dipstick tube and fill hole. I'm figuring it's a plugged breather, but I can't find one. Anyone know where it is?

Jon I believe the 2394 is the same as a 2390 for rear tub venting. They use only the filler tube plug as a vent. Your friends tractor would not be way over full of oil or possibly getting overheated because of a plugged front oil cooler? Rod.

I'm not sure about over full, he was only pulling a rubber tired packer for the township. The fill plug is not vented on his, just a simple cover with an o-ring seal.

Yep that is all they used, they are not 100% sealed. He could just stuff a clean rag in the opening. It would serve as a cap, vent and filter just for the heck of it to see if the problem goes away. Rod.
