Another rain delay has given me the time to check out the noise in the clutch drive of the 660. I have had the bearings for a year, the clutch is good so all I have to do is get this apart and install the brgs. My helper says Grampa get this thing fixed quick, we got beans that are ready, LOL. Rod.

Yes Rod, good timing too if its back raining again. Rod, you are a mover and a shaker as they say around here!
 
Looks familiar. Back in about 1975 I needed to replace the bearings in the housing on a 1160. Made up three chains and long bolts to pull the big spring down while removing the pulleys. Have used them several times since.
 
Steve I made a set of those puller chains yesterday, I got the housing apart and replaced the brgs. Was not fun, no where in the manual was mention about how to remove this pressed on spacer that is against the outer brg. Dang it was tight, had to be careful not to wreck it. Rod.
