JD350 hydraulic pump shaft & collar

The hydraulic pump on my JD350 loader can be (dis)engaged from the engine by moving a lever on the "passenger" side of the engine.

I need the shaft and the rotating collar that (dis)engages the pump.

Does anyone know where I can find these parts? If not, even the part numbers would help. (I couldn't find them in the JD online parts catalog).

As I recall, those parts were eliminated long ago. I know we never replaced them at the Deere dealerships I worked at 1969-
1992. Usually repaired with one shaft and elimiated all the shift-collar parts.

That said - they are in the 350 crawler parts book. Not the loader book. Collar is T21132. Shafts are T21131 for the one by
the crank-pulley. Other shaft depends on which pump and serial #. Can be T43582 or T105547 assuming you have the Cessna 23
GPM pump.

Thanks for the quick and valuable response - it's just what I needed, especially about eliminating the disconnect. (I never have liked it).

Sorry for my late response - life got in the way temporarily. :)

JDEM, is the single shaft a direct replacement for the quick disconnect shaft and collar?

If it is, do you know the part number for the single shaft? (I again failed to find it in the JDPARTS catalog :( )

Easiest way to find the newer parts is to look them up for a 350B or 350C. Main thing you must know is what size pump you have. All the 350 series comes with either a 15 GPM pump or a 23 GPM pump. Standard dozers (no extra options) have the smaller 15 GPM pump. Dozers with options and all loaders have the bigger 23 GPM pump. Small pump has a shaft with 9 splines and is only around 3/4" diameter. Larger 23 GPM pump has 13 splines and is 7/8" diameter.

Thanks - Just what I needed.

I see you're using the alphabet search - I try that next time. (I've been using the "Section" search but wasn't finding these parts.)

I've finally found time to work on my hydraulic pump problem. It turns out that I don't need the shaft and collar - the whole assembly had fallen into the belly pan.

BUT i have a related question. The assembly I recovered from the belly pan does not have Items 17 or 18. I don't remember ever seeing that spring in the past, and there is only a bit more than 2" of clear shaft where the spring should go. From the diagram, it looks like the spring is maybe 6" long, and therefore would not fit in the available space.

The split-out diagram that shows shaft 16A does not show the spring, so it's not clear whether shaft 16A needs the spring or not.

Long post to ask the simple question - is it possible that my machine does not use Items 17 and 18?

(To be complete, I also don't think I have the two C-rings, items 21 and 22. I'm away from the machine so I can't verify that, but I don't remember seeing them)
