TD15B International Crawler / Bulldozer

Good day
I bought an International TD15B Crawler /bulldozer , It has problems with reverse 1&2 . I replaced all the clutch packs with new ones, also
serviced all the seals and bearings , as with the torque converter, pump and valve banks, i still have the same problem .Is there any body
with advise.
I also notice in the morning that it takes about 30 min to drive forward properly.

That sounds like an oil pressure issue,you need to check the pressure to see it is within limits,the clutches depend on pressure to engage them,no doubt you have the suction filter clean and checked the suction line is not kinked or closed,that any breathers on the transmission or torque is clear,usually power shifts have the opposite problem you have ie they lose drive when they get hot,a simple pressure test is the way to go.

I read your first post again and realize that you have no reverse in either first or second gear but you have forward,the transmission consists of four gears,each gear has a clutch pack,you have two speed gears and a forward and reverse gear,then you have a high and low range,the 1st & 2nd gear share the two direction clutches,the issue you have is you have no drive in reverse gear,you have drive in forward 1&2 so you know that the charge pump,torque,forward 1&2 is ok,so the issue is the reverse clutch,is it getting enough pressure to engage it,is the linkage moving the valve enough,is the oil escaping somewhere internally,the gauge will tell if it is getting enough pressure,hope you can sort it after all you spent on it,when you get it right it will be worth it,those were grand machines,pity IH didn't keep going.

Thanks again for your advise AJ , i noticed also that the one filter is blown up like a balloon on the inside , will replace and test again.
I am not always close to internet especially when I am on the farm, what can i check for if the pressure test are negative.
