Terratrac GT-25 and John Deere 1010 Series

I have a TerraTrac GT-25 dozer and a John Deere 1010 Series dozer that I inherited on some land that I recently purchased. I am trying to figure out if there is either a restoration or parts market for these machines or if I should just plan to have them scrapped. I have some pictures if those would be of interest to anyone.

I just acquired the land so I haven’t had a chance to even clean up around the equipment yet. My understanding is this is how they have sat for the past decade.

I’m having difficulty getting my pictures to upload and post to my message. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong.

Not always, but in many cases new users have to have 5 or more posts on record before the site lets them post pictures, due to site spam filters. Another option is to go down to the Site Comments Forum and ask YT Support for permission to post prior to that. You can try going down to the Test Forum and making several posts there, trying to attach pictures to each post. That may work after you make several, then post again here with your question. It may not work immediately after you get past the 5 posts, if not, you might try logging out and back in at that point. There is a size limit as well, I think it is 7.5mb, total of all pictures, per post. Some phone pictures are too large and have to be reduced. Keep trying it will work soon.

the 1010 looks rougher for sure,, but would still be a parts machine at least the Terra Track now I wish it was close to me it sure looks decent and has the stack covered so she may just run with little work,, both certainly worth advertising I would think you would do far better than scrap value

As you are new to the site you likely wouldn t know the following. This site uses two different views, Classic and Modern. Anyone using the Modern View sees the old post, your new post, and any responses to your post are there, as seen on most forums. Those using the Classic View only see your post as a RE to the original post, which does not include the original post, as after a post is a few pages old in Classic, replies do not link to it. Because of this for anyone using Classic view there is no background to what you are asking (or in this case who you are trying to reach) and it may get you off the wall replies to your post. Then any replies, like this one, to your post will generally show as random REs in Classic, with no connection to the original or your post.

You could start a new post of your own, reaching out to jason614 and see if he responds. If you are looking for a Terratrac GT-25 crawler you could also use the Classified section, on the YT home page, to post a want ad.
