John Deere 350b steering clutch shaft.

Well guys Ive taken the drive back off again well multiple
times. The housing isnt meshing together on the frame the
way it should. As well as I ruined one pilot bearing. I ordered
another. But the steering input shaft on all the manuals says
it should just come out with the pressure plate. I cannot
remove it. It will not budge nor is there any slop in it. II want
it out to check it with the final drive before I put it all
together again. Im starting to think it is either seized in
there or stripped out. Do you all have any ideas on how to
remove it without pulling the clutch housing apart?
