PLEASE HELP! Case 580 super E will not start. When Turning the key, sometimes you hear a very slight click that sounds like it is in the dash. I have 12.6v at the battery and 12.4 at the starter. It will not jump off of the starter post, just barely makes a spark! ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!!!!

Check all the connections are clean and tight, check the battery box is not loose as the ground goes through it, check the ground strap from the battery to the engine, for a test use a jumper cable from the ground terminal to the starter, if that all checks out check the battery with a load tester if you got one.

i had a similar issue on my se. what i found was under the floor board near the gas pedal, there is a molded rummer connector. the big wire that supplied the
amperage was fried nearly in 2. i could read 12 volts everywhere but no amperage to fire starter. i simply cut the wire both sides of the connector and wired
around it. that connector is hard to find. right side of shuttle i think. need long arms to do the repair from under the machine. good luck

SOLVED: ground cable from battery had a break about 4 inches from post under the covering and was very green. Cleaned it up and cut it at the break and reassembled and the machine ran perfectly, thank you everyone!!

It sure is nice when a report comes back with the results. So many times we never know the out come. Glad you got it figured out.
