I would look for military sites for literature as they were used somewhat for military service. Not much to be had outside the military. They were kind of a strange duck as far as construction equipment goes.

The mining company I worked for had an Eimco dozer and an Eimco loader. They had Detroit diesel engines a V-6 in the dozer and an in line 4-71 in the loader. They were pretty good machines but almost impossible to keep running. The torque converters gave a lot of trouble, causing the company to finally junk them.
