Shifter plugs

Can anyone tell me where to find the 2 plugs that hold the shifter pin in place on top of transmission? This is for Super M but seems like I got something similar for a super A. Anyone just cut them out of a piece of sheet metal?

Doorman still makes those plugs, you should be able to get them at an auto parts store.

Plugs are available at the dealership for under $3, #256919R1, or as the other poster says, measure the hole and check at an auto parts store for a Welch plug that size.

If the shifter is sloppy steiner sells a kit to put a larger pin in the tower, they also sell a kit wit new pin and plugs.

Unless they changed NAPA sells the 5/8 expansion plugs under number 219-1002. Bought a box several years ago and haven't used all. That number is on box.
