One more that I'm having a hard time identifying. I don't know if the hood goes with it or not because it was just hanging there. You can see where the serial number tag is missing. I appreciate yalls help.

Yep, it WAS an H before it was left outside to rot into oblivion 30-40 years ago. I doubt there's much for usable parts left anymore.

Bought it to part out. I'm hoping I can save some parts off it so someone can fix their tractor. It is better off than scrapping where it would be gone forever. Will be listing on the photo ads soon for parts. Thanks guys for the ID

There are still a few hundred dollars worth of visible parts on that H, and may be more inside that are still worth something.

Its a farmall H. Should be a serial number stamped on the side of the engine that more than likely would of been an identical number that was on the missing serial number plate. The hood likewise appears to be an H farmall hood, and I bet it belongs to the tractor. Looks like some salvageable parts still there. Should be at least worth its weight for scrap.

Hey RTR, I know this is going to be an ongoing problem for you, so maybe this tip will be helpful:

Use the tractors that you've already identified to help you identify the rest. H's are all the same physical size so when you come across another one this size, it's an H. If it's bigger it's an M.

Another quick tip on identifying: I think most of us here concluded it was an H simply from the angle of the rear half of the steering shaft, and looking at the brake cover. An M's steering shaft runs almost flat, while an H's is at a much steeper angle. The brake cover is a band brake style, with the lever and spring on the outside.
