My PTO shifter shaft wore out and keeps jumping out of engagement. So I am going to replace it. But apparently the seal (351 291 R1) for the shifter shaft is now unavailable, so how or what can I use/do for a replacement?

my pto shaft did the same thing. the pto pilot shaft bushing was worn out.

Do some google searches and you may find one. Or, it is just a piece of felt. Rejuvenate it by soaking it in solvent, thoroughly rinsing it out, and oiling it. Or, get some new felt and make one with gasket punches.

Get the dimensions and it can be had mite not be as thick as the original
