I own this old tractor, it was my Dads and my favorite of all he ever had. Just wanting to understand it better. The Serial number is an F 706 which I assume means Farmall 706 I believe it has the 282 diesel. My question is that the tag for serial number has S-Y after the number anyone know what that stands for? Also it is the only 706 I have seen a picture of that has International on the side plate above engine instead of Farmall. Thanks for any feed back.
