what keeps front from turning to far......you look down and tires are horizonal to tractor just sliding across the ground.....thanks dewey
 
One of the four bolts that holds the front end to the tractor has a long head.I believe it's the one on the left. Look under,and you can see it.
 
I would think you do more than anything. If you turn left, the tractor turns left. If you keep turning left and the tractor starts turning right, you've gone too far.

I like having the wheels able to turn that far on a narrow front. With the brake applied you can spin the tractor around in its own length. Very handy for maneuvering in a barn.
 
That's it exactly. They're called stop bolts. There are a few on ebay right now, just look for Farmall stop bolts or Farmall bolster bolts. One end is longer. Gotta mske sure you install it in the correct position.
