Which GL rating of gear lube should be avoided because of possible damage to brass parts? Thanks in advance.

It's a GL 1, it doesn't have any EP [Extreme Pressure] lubricants in it.

Some GL5 apparently contains sulphur compound(s) that attack brass.

Please explain your logic in this answer.
I understood that brass parts were subject to corrosion by sulfur additives in GL-4 and GL-5 gear lube. Are you saying that brass components are at risk when using a non EP fluid?
