A friend of mine sent me pictures he says it's a B serial tag is missing I dindnt think they came with wide front end any info would be great Thanks
 
They didn't. Over the years I've seen several that have been grafted on, usually fairly half-xxxed, most often the front end of an A.
 
B's had a narrow front end unless someone has put a wide on it. Once saw an A that someone put a B frontend on. Looked to be like it could tip to the left pretty easy.
 
The front for a B is much the same as the front for a C except for the location of the worm gear. The same wide front end for a C will fit a B but I think you could order a wide front for a B from very early on.
 
The B steering housing is generally similar to the C. However, it does not have any provision for mounting the C style axle. I have seen a C axle adapted to a B, but it requires fabrication some sort of adapter.
 
The steering of B and C are a reverse of one another and one will not work on the other. The internal parts maybe the same.

If you could post a picture of this B with the wide front, these guys could tell you exactly what is going on.

Most likely someone stuck an A front end on the tractor because it's the easy bolt-on solution.
Less likely but still common for this to be a custom fabrication.
There is also a good possibility that the tractor was misidentified as a B, but is really an A or Super A.
 
The steering shaft on the right side seems to be a natural fit with the offset design, much like with the A series. I wonder what improvement or advantage led the engineers to change to the left side for the C series?
 
Yes, that would probably tip over very easily - especially making a right turn!

It would be much better to put an "A" wide front on a B or a BN, that would be much more stable...
