Farmall H Chaos

My Farmall H wasn't helping… We wanted a picture of it with a Fire Truck and State Emergency Service vehicle as we are raising money for drought affected farmers in Northern New South Wales. I am in Southern Australia where, currently, it is NOT dry. The trucks went out to our old shearing shed and I set off to meet them on the Farmall H. The tractor was clearly afraid of cameras, because it stopped and refused to start again. No problem, the trucks could come to the Farmall… until one truck was bogged. My Belarus 920 was not big enough to extract the truck, so heavy haulage came to do the extraction with their 900 series Kenworth, which they also bogged. They then sent a second Kenworth to extract the first. After all that, we shovelled tons of mud back into the trenches ploughed by a fire truck and two Kenworths. Finally went to retrieve the Farmall H some hours later and, of course, it started straight away and trundled back into the shed without any hassles. I usually have nothing bad to say about Farmalls, but that old beast was not popular for a couple of days! We got a photograph for the fund raiser, which makes it hard to see the truck was stuck!
