In addition to looking at the oil, another way to check for antifreeze in the oil is to loosen the oil drain plug and see if you get any drops on antifreeze before any oil comes out. The longer it has been since the engine was run the better this method works.
 
On the subj of HYDROS I want to replace a 312 engine in a 666 w/ a late model Cummins turbo from a Ford 1 ton...read about one put in a 560, but it was clutch and geared...just bolt it in and change flywheel...any comments
