F12 serial numbers

Does anyone know, if an F12 is missing the serial number tag, where is the number stamped?
Is it stamped like a F20 or F30?
Does the motor numer always match the tin tag number?

The F-12 serial number is stamped on the tag on the fuel tank support, and also on a smooth flat spot below the fuel pump.

If my block shows FSB635, What shold my tag read? I am going to order a new tag, but I'm unsure about the FSB. Shouldn't it only be 2 letters followed by numbers?

Recheck it, could it be an 8, rather than a B. If the engine is original, it should match. I didnt know anyone was reproducing those tags.
