1468 steering

Hello.I have a 1973 1468 IH.When I start it up and try to go,the steering and the brakes do not work.Has anyone had this problem?If so,did you cure it and how did you cure it.Thank you in advance.Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Your MCV pump is probably getting weak and should be replaced. But one thing you can try is change the hyd filter and bleed out the air from the MCV. There is a plug on the edge of the MCV facing the rear that a 5/8 wrench will fit. Remove plug and start up tractor and quickly shut off when oil shoots out. This is to get you moving again but its not a long term fix. I"m sure others will be giving you their ideas as well so you decide what notions will work best for you. A short term fix or long term.
