I hope you can help me. My dad recently purchased an IH 300. It is an awesome tractor. It came with a loader and no power steering. Is it possible to put PS on this model? Thanks.

This is the way to go and I just checked for the same thing. The unit they have costs 1295.00.

watch ebay or cheack out the steelwheelranch.com for the belehn power steering its about $700+ or on ebay you can find them from 250-350. both options you need to find new front steering shaft or motify yours.

The Behlen power steering system will use the tractors own hydraulic system, which will need to have a priority valve in the regulator/safety valve. If it did not ever have this P.S. system on it, it will not have that valve.
The Charlyn P.S. will have its own pump and not use the tractors hydraulic system.
