Having problems with my hydraulic remotes. If I lift up my disk, get out of the tractor, open gate, get back in, its is already down on the ground. Put on my sprayer and the wings each have one hose, they drift up and down when going through the field. Is there an adjustment, or do I need new valves or what. All 3 remotes seem to act the same way. Thanks for you help. Also I am having a few problems with the sentry. Sometimes the tractor won't move, and you have to push clutch in and back out again, then it works fine for a while. I am thinking it is one of the pressure switches, are they hard to get at, should I replace both of them?
 
I can't answer the hydraulic question but I just had the same problem with the sentry on my 5488. There is two pressure switches under the floor pan in the cab. Kinda a pain to get at.. got to remove the mat, etc. You can switch the pressure switches from one to another to see if the problem is the odd numbered gears or even numbered. Easy to see if one is bad will be seeping/leaking oil.Also the sentry module has two relays on the bottom, switch these to see where the problem gears will be. Just swap them side to side. If any of this doesn't work the module could be bad. The module is in the fusebox at the bottom center of the dash, between the clutch and brake pedals. Sorry for the long post hope it helps!
 
Is your tractor equiped with a alternating check valve,this would be a square metal box inline with the steel remote lines about midway under cab. Usually the tractor was equiped on the no. 1 remote with this valve. If you have one it needs repaired, parts can be found on a 66 series valve breakdown. If not equiped you will pay over 300 dollars new for on plus the lines or hoses to install one.I agree with Rodge on the sentry problem and if sentry is faulty High Capacity makes a overide relay kit that eliminates the Sentry. Hope this helps
