Anyone bought a belt for a belly mower lately?

Was mowing with my 6'Art's Way mower when the belt that drives the blades decided to give up the ghost. Called Art's Way and I couldn't buy one direct from them, I would have to go through the local New Holland dealer. $70.40, guess I should be glad they can still get them. Oh well I guess that's about 7 gal.s of diesel.

Paul: I bought a Woods belt for my 59 year ago last fall and it was over $60.00 back then. Luckily I haven't used it yet. My old belt was looking bit shabby, guess I overreacted.

I bought one for my Woods mower on a Farmall A a few years back and I think it may have been even more if I remember right. I am amazed that those belts last as long as they do with the twists and turns they have to make each revolution of the belt. Roger
