about how much would a 1942 farmall M be worth nowadays? Considering new engine over haul, new paint and tires, just bout everything totally restored. thanks

In the area of $3500 assumong documents for rebuild, and a great paint job. If less than pretty darn good, $2500.
Some depends on where you are located, some depends on the rarity of War time tractors. Much depends on the Buyer. Average running Ms are 2000 with mediocre but usable tires. JimN

Everyone's definition of an overhaul is different, but if you TRULY overhauled the engine: new sleeves, pistons, rings, turned crank, new rod and main bearings, cam bearings, gaskets, etc, you would have spent $2,000+. Now add in new tires for $1,200....It's pretty hard to get $3200 for an M around here.
