47 Farmall Cub air cleaner

Hi,
I have a 47 Cub. I haven't had it very long. I'm trying to service the air clearer. I removed the cup from the bottom to expose the screen. It looks like the screen should come out but it will not budge. Can anyone tell me if this part is supposed to be removeable and if so how to get it out?

The screen does not come out. Just soak it in some kerosene or parts cleaner then rinse and blow it out with air. Repeat until clean.
