IHC 430 International Baler with Thrower Problems

The #10 thrower on this baler is only moving the bales to the edge of the wagon when it should be further than the wagon. We replaced the aluminum pulley (used) near the tightener and we have seen no difference. Can you give me some direction or parts available to get this working.

Hi Robert it is the spring that becomes weak on that aluminum pulley. We drilled two bolt holes in the pulley and put shims on bolts in between pulley halves and tightened the bolts. Now pulley is fixed and control the distance to throw the bales by RPM of the tractor. Are the throwing rollers grabbing the bale properly? All belts have to adjusted properly and not slipping to throw properly.

other make throwers can be made to work on similar balers, I even saw at auction a nh belt thrower or ih roller thrower on a green jd baler about 10 years ago. the seller had an auxillary engine to drive the thrower in that case, but i think that only minor modifications would be neccessary to use a NH thrower on an IH baler from the flywheel.
