Why do people do this to tractors... SAD SIGHT

I buy IH tractors to refurbish -- don't care what color it is, I would repaint it red anyway. I guess the guy just liked green.
 
And if anyone really cares, it's a model 2000 loader.

Other than the grill not having headlights it looks like my I-2444 with a 2050 loader. It looks like yellow paint under the green.
 
I have often seen tractors painted funny colors to match the colors of a specific fleet of equipment. Perhaps this machine belonged to a fella who owned a green dump truck and a green trailer that he pulled behind it and he wanted everything to match! Just a thought.
 
Whats even more sadder, is he could have at least let it rust away and ruin and have people complain about that. But instead he painted it it a different color for whatever reason, and it preserved the tractor that much longer. Guess it would have been better painted pink.

Frankly I'd rather see it that way than all beat to h-ll from mis-use and neglect. I know, it's the green that insults....the hated green.....
