Super H lights

I just bought some new sealed beam lights for my SH and the dim part of the switch is not working but bright is. How do I fix it. Thanks Mike

There is a resistor on the switch that is (more than likely) burned out. To replace it you can purchase a new switch, substitute a 100 watt 5 ohm resistor, or use a resistor out of a heater speed control block from many older cars. They will need to be crimped in because they all get hot when used (enough to smoke any oil off of them, so careful location is necessary. Best of luck JimN

i ran accross a website that had the resistor component for the IH light switches available separately while looking for something else last week. cannot find it at the moment. will post if i do
