4.125 bore Super MTA piston

I am trying to find a set of high dome pistons for a 4.125 bore once upon a time I bought a set of TRW pistons that had a very high dome on them not sure of the dome height I have an old piston that is a firecrater style out of a super MTA the dome on it is .400 would like to find where to purchase a set with that high of a dome or slightly higher without having custom made the only ones I can find through local parts stores and machine shops are much shorter dome some as low as .187 , thanks for any input

I believe 350 chevy pistons are the same bore, it you want to make it scream, some people have done this.

The pistons that you are looking for are the high alt. pistons for above 8500 feet . last time that i got a set was maybe12-14 years ago and i got them off Clyde Burkshire out in Royal Center Ind. We used them in one of my good friends S/MTA's .

ot quite that easy though. You would need the proper connecting rods to do this as well depending on the piston pin location. Depending on the location of the piston pin you may have to clearance the bottom of the sleeve/bore for connecting rod clearance. Alot of variables on this one.

the compression distance on a 350 chevy piston is half of what the m's is. you would have about half the compression with them.
