Looking to get a brake lock control for my Super M. I know there are a few different types out there and I'm open to all suggestions. The one I like is the one that is mounted to the light bar, What else is out there?

2 down and dirty ways:
a short length of chain, rope, cable, wire, etc. attatched to the lock plate on one end, and somewhere above the pedals on the other end.
or
Heat and bend the end of the lock up so you can grab it easier or somehow engage it with a toe. good chance getting your feet tangled up that way ;)

I like the lever you are talking about better too.

Mark: My Super M came with the lever and rod that mounts up at the light bar. Sure works good - so good, in fact, that I got one for the Super H from O.E.M. mike

I made a brake lock control for my M out of a piece of 3/8 metal rod. Bent it (With heat) to slide under the locking lever and then it goes to the clutch side behind the steering column and bends up at 45 degrees which lifts the locking lever when brake is depressed. Cost $2.50 and 1/2 hrs work. Fastens to floor and steering column bolts. Works great every time. Nuff said Henry
