Does anyone here know if the Oldsmobile 350 diesel is internally balanced or externally balanced??? I need know for sure. Thanks!

Not certain I understand your question...

However if you are asking whether the Olds 350 diesel uses an internal balance shaft the answer is no.

i can ask one of my employees tomorrow. he run a 350 olds diesel block in his drag car. 1400 hp blown methanol. 7 sec, 185 mph 1/4 mile times. heres a pic

I'm going to put it in a 560 I was just wondering
if I would have to have the machine shop balance the crankshaft and flywheel together?
Does the 560 flywheel have a zero balance?

The Olds 350 diesel used a weighted damper AND a weighted flywheel/flexplate.

Bob, what he"s referring to here is whether the crankshaft and rotating assembly are balanced internally(like a 350 Chevy) or if there is additional counterweights on the harmonic dampner and flywheel/flexplate(like on a 400 Chevy).
