Trying to find out what a few of these alts my Dad saved for some reason could have possible come off of. I have pretty much narrowed most of the 17 down, but I have 4 that are Delco Remy, no marks other than R-2 raised. Left side of back has a stud with red plastic near the base of the stud,3 have BATT abobe it, the other doesnt, black on the left side with GROUND about the stud. Center has twp spade plugs that "point" out towards the back, R on the right, F on the left. Im sure these arent any good, but dont know for the life of me why he would have kept them. Nearly 10 years since Dad passed and I just found them. Ill try and post a pic of one when the batteries charge back up for my camera.

Delco 10SI... INTERNALLY-REGULATED. Available in a wide variety of voltages and output Amp ratings, as well as (-) or (+) ground. 12-SI is very similar.

Top one is it! I think it was on a JD combine my uncle had at one time, maybe something else, not sure. Could have been on an old farm truck we had. Any aplications you know of? One has a little box on the back that plugs into the R,F connectors, red wire to BAT side, black wire to the GRD side. Any idea what it is?

Never mind, just fiqured out what he used those on. These were what Dad tried to use on his M one time, came off of a MF that he came across in the junkyard one time, and thought it would work on him M. The one with the box is what he got to work. The box was a regulator/cutout type deal to make this a one wire alternator. Took my brother to remind me.

Just wondering I just got a 1960 240 Utility and it has the 10SI. Mine did not have the top plug in the top of the 10SI. Should I get this plug made into my wire harness? I am just not sure what that plug is for.

I think a 60 240 would have the 45 amp external regulator model in it. That is what my 69 2444 has.
