stuck brake on H

When we moved the H with the stuck engine one wheel didn"t turn. I assume the brake is stuck,on a Case you can just loosen the bolts and the disk lets loose normally. The H must have a band, does tapping on the cover help Thanks Dave

Yes, the H has band brakes. Try tapping the brake linkage back, or take off the brake cover & band and fix the problem.

The H has a brake adjusting screw at the very bottom of the cover. If its still ther try slackening it right off then kick the pedal a few times. That just might work. MTF

Andy has it right. Moisture has got into the brake cover and caused some corrosion. You can"t cure it without removing the cover.
