international 574 D

I have a d-239 that I am going to rebuild with new piston and sleeves and the question I have is I dropped the pan to inspect the crank size so I could order the right size bearings and the part # on the main rod bearing half is 305521r1 and that does not match any of the replacement parts from IH that I have seen. It is an IH part # their logo is above it Also should I go with factory parts or are they all from the same place anyhow. thanks again Brian

As for the number you found can't say. It should end with ( R2 )or somthing like that. There should also be if the crank has been turned another number like 0.020 or such that will be the amount of undersize also will be on the rods.
Bolted to the bottom of the block is a set of balancers that time with the engine. When we put the sleeves in ours 20 years ago we didn't put them back in and no difference in the running that we could see. that engine has wet sleeves also. Meaning that coolant is against them. They should push out easy just something on the bottom of the sleeve and a jack up from the bottom and out they come. This is of course if it is still in the tractor.
