Farmall C hydraulic system

Im loseing oil from my hydraulic system, no leaks but it seems to be leaking into the oil pan of the engine.Is that possible, what would be wrong. Any help would be great. Thanks Ray

Ray,about the only place that hydraulic fluid can get to the oil is through the pump.So,you probably have a bad o-ring in the pump assembly.

Leaking seal on the input shaft of the pump. Get the part number off the pump and get a pump kit from CaseIH. If the pump shaft is badly worn, you may need to put a wear sleeve on it for the new seal to hold.

Ray, The others are right on the money. I just rebuilt mine this summer and it was easy. Take yours off and take it in. My SC had a wooster pump off a 140 on it so you can't count on what it SHOULD have. They can look at your pump and tell you what you need. If your shaft is good it will be an easy fix. If the shaft is bad you will need a speedy sleeve. Here is a link for them. Ron
