I just got this one running, it had been setting the last 8 years. I figure the rings are stuck to the piston. Anyone had any luck with these free up after a little use, or any ideals that would help free them up. I let it run for at least an hour today, oil pressure stayed over 40 the whole time.

BTDT many times. Fill the cylinders with ATF and walk away from it for a week. Then pull the plugs back out. Always put them back in to keep dirt etc out. Spin the engine over to clear the cylinders out and then run it for all its worth for an hour or 2 and the problem will probably go away unless it has major problems

take it in the field and give it a good work out for half a day, get her hot and make it earn its keep.that is make it pull all it can.
