350 Utilty Distributor shaft question ??

Unless they have droped the part in the last year or so. Case IH has the bushing, part # 373577 R91. Think the last one I got was in the 50 to 60 dollar range. Unless you have a sized shaft to install it with the bushing may need sized after installing. Sometimes needs sized anyway.
 
I found several at a bearing store. Motion Industries. I purchased one that was 1/2" longer than the old bushing because my shaft was worn as much as the bushing. I waas able to position it so that the bushing extended into the pump plate and was not an issue. I cannot remember exactly how far it extended. JimN
 
Jim are you refering to the T shaped distributor drive shaft bushing or the distributor housing bushing. I was refering to distributor housing and main shaft bushing.
After seeing your post it make me think I may have misunderstould question, or what you mean by extended into pump plate.
 
Now you have me thinking (I just looked up the caseih.com diagram and the bushing is in the distrubutor proper, not as I described). (I am 700 miles from the 350U) It was the component package for Bushing Large, in distributor housing. I definately had room enough to ad length to the bushing to ride on new shaft. Ours had .015 play in it 1/2 in the bushing, and 1/2 in the shaft wear. JimN
 
Looked to make sure about price of bushing. Was $ 32.50 earlier this year. Sorry for other price I posted, memory mixed up with PTO pilot shaft bushing.
