My husband, who is not internet savy, has a Farmall 300 that would not move. So he split it apart to find the engine clutch plate was wore down and looking a little deeper seen the T / A clutch pressure plate was broke in half and the fingers (or what every they are called) where wore down to nubs. He replaced both items, drained the old oil and replaced it with new. Once back together it was working pretty good, actually better then before, then he lost motion again suddenly so had to pull it back up the driveway. Anyhow, he took some plates off to check the rear of the T / A and he told me the gears or whatever they are would work then not work. I seen a T / A eliminator kit online yet the price for it is just shy of just getting the new T / A assembly. So is my question is there away to eliminate T / A safety with out spending a fortune (money is tight right now) to do it on a Farmall 300 RC?
