130 3 point hitch

Wondering if anyone has fabricated a complete 3 point hitch for a 130. It looks easy to convert the factory hitch to a 3 point, but I"m to cheap to buy the correct parts. Hardest part looks to be connecting the rockshaft to the fenders. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Mike: What do you currently have for a hitch? Two possibilities are U type drawbar and one point fast hitch. If you don't already have a rear rockshaft, this project will get a bit more expensive.

I've fabricated a good number of 3 point hitches for these tractors. I also sell hitches as well as plans for fabricating your own hitch. You may think a plan is not necessary, however I can tell you if you don't get the geometry right these hitches will not lift 200 lbs. If you get it right here are the results, this disk is close to 1,000 lbs.

Hugh, I have access to a 100 about two miles down the road with a fast hitch mounted that I can use for reference so I'm pretty sure I can get the geometry correct. Not sure how sloppy things need to be to attach an implement. Don't think I need an adjustable lift arm on one side. This is a picture of the snowplw lift system I made.

Mike: There is nothing on a one point fast hitch, that will give you correct length of 3 point hitch linkages, nor the mechanical advantage required to achive maximun lift from this hydraulic system. It's all in length of lower link, top link, mounting to tractor and pivot point along lower link to attach vertical links. If you don't get those right, your hitch will do well to lift a sack of potatoes.
