Rear Light Bracket

What does the rear light bracket look like for a Farmall Super C with fast hitch? Also, where is the bracket mounted i.e. left or right of the tool box? Is the bracket mounted on the platform?

According to the parts book, it depends on your serial number. Up to 189456, the rear light mounted to a bracket mounted about midway up the left side of the toolbox that is the seat support. Above that number, it was mounted on a bracket to the rear of the deck, just far enough to the right to allow a fat hand to operate the PTO shift lever withour interference.

In my case that is a problem. My serial number is just below the cutoff you mentioned but there is no way a bracket can me mounted on the left side of the tool box. There is a part for the fast hitch that is mounted there.

The one that mounts it to the deck to the deck is common with the Hs and Ms.

OEM sells the bracket, #353642R11. Thier cagtalog lists it for Hs and Ms, but it's also listed and shown in the Super C parts book and mounts on the left side of the deck for tractors with FastHitch

Mine is a 1953, ser.# 173728. The brkt. is on the left rear corner of the transmission cover. The brkt. is a strap 1/4" thick x about 4" long with a twist in it and a thing on the side to fit the light clamp. I think it"s the same brkt. as on my Super M. There"s a fasthitch on my Super C also.
