1st, thanx for the help on the engine miss I could not find. It was the intake manifold leaking air. Problem: The clutch petal wobbles all over. I put a new bushing in the clutch petal. The Shaft needs to be replaced. How do I get the old one out? I have a new one but it looks like the only way to remove the old one is heat it with the torch to remove it from the frame. As always I appreciate any help. B

I've replaced several of them. It takes a pretty good size press. I use a local truck repair shop that has a 20+ ton press. The last one I took in they had to apply heat along with a BUNCH of pressure to get it out. Hope this helps.

10 years ago I replaced one in an F-12 & believe it to be the same. Either I drove it out from the back side with large punch & hammer or (more likely) sawed it flush & drilled it out. To a chisel to collapse & remove the last bit. Mild steel so drilling went pretty fast.
